This Privacy Policy explains how trackable (“trackable,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and discloses information when you visit gettrackable.ca (the “Site”). It also describes the analytics and advertising technologies we use and the choices available to you.

1. Who We Are

trackable provides analytics infrastructure and marketing measurement services for small businesses. We are based in Ontario, Canada.

2. Information We Collect

a) Information you provide directly

When you contact us or submit a form on the Site (for example a contact, enquiry, or quote request form), we collect the information you choose to give us, which may include your name, email address, phone number, business name, and the contents of your message.

b) Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, certain information is collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies, including:

Device and browser type
Approximate geographic location (derived from IP address, which is not stored in our analytics reports)
Pages viewed, links clicked, and time spent on the Site
The website or source that referred you to the Site
Marketing campaign identifiers (UTM parameters) attached to the links you arrive from

We use this information to understand how visitors find and use the Site, to measure the performance of our marketing, and to improve the experience we offer.

3. Cookies and Similar Technologies

4. Google Analytics 4

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4), a web analytics service provided by Google LLC (“Google”), to understand how visitors use the Site.

GA4 uses cookies and similar identifiers to collect information such as the pages you visit, your approximate location, and how you arrived at the Site. GA4 automatically anonymizes IP addresses and uses them only briefly to estimate general location before discarding them. We do not use GA4 to collect personally identifiable information such as your name or email address, and Google’s terms prohibit us from doing so.

5. Google Tag Manager

We use Google Tag Manager to manage the tags and tracking scripts on the Site. Google Tag Manager itself does not collect personal information; it is a tool that loads other tags (such as GA4 and advertising tags) according to the rules we configure. Any data collection is governed by the individual services those tags belong to, as described in this policy.

6. Google Advertising Features and Google Signals

Where enabled, we use Google Analytics Advertising Features, which may include Remarketing, Demographics and Interests reporting, and Google Signals.

When these features are active:

We and third-party vendors, including Google, use first-party cookies (such as the Google Analytics cookie) together with third-party cookies (such as Google advertising cookies) to inform, optimize, and serve advertising based on your past visits to the Site, and to report on how our ads perform.
Google Signals, where enabled, allows reporting and remarketing across the devices of signed-in Google users who have turned on Ads Personalization.

7. Google Ads

We may use Google Ads to promote our services. Google Ads uses cookies and similar technologies to measure the effectiveness of our campaigns (for example, whether a visit led to an inquiry) and, where applicable, to show our ads to people who have previously visited the Site (remarketing). The advertising choices described in Section 6 also apply to Google Ads.

8. Consent and Your Choices

Where required by applicable law, we ask for your consent before setting analytics or advertising cookies, and we use Google’s Consent Mode to adjust how Google’s tags behave based on the choices you make. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the cookie controls on the Site or your browser settings.

9. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Respond to your inquiries and provide the services you request
Operate, secure, and improve the Site
Measure and improve the performance of our marketing
Understand which channels and campaigns bring visitors to the Site
Comply with our legal obligations

10. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:

With service providers that help us operate the Site and our analytics and advertising (such as Google), who are permitted to use it only on our instructions
Where required by law, regulation, or valid legal process

11. Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy or as required by law. Analytics data is retained according to the retention settings configured in our GA4 property. Inquiry and contact information is kept for as long as needed to respond to you and maintain our business records.

12. International Transfers

Google and some of our other service providers may process and store data on servers located outside Canada, including in the United States. Where information is transferred internationally, it remains subject to safeguards intended to protect it consistent with this policy and applicable law.

13. Children’s Privacy

The Site is intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

14. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
